MMOexp POE 2: Basic mapping without additional investment
Summary
The Raven Boss offers cheaper entry costs than Ash Arbiter while still providing access to POE2 Currency valuable Raven Shards.
Although it narrowly misses A-Tier, it remains one of the better boss farming options available.
Adorned Farming & Standard Simulacrum
Verdict: High-risk lottery farming.
Adorned Farming
The chase jewel remains incredibly valuable, but extremely low drop rates combined with expensive entry costs create enormous variance.
Simulacrum (Without a Dedicated Build)
Without a specialized character, profits depend heavily on finding valuable Voices jewels, making earnings inconsistent.
C-Tier Farming Strategies
Abyss
Verdict: A shadow of its former self.
Abyss rewards have fallen dramatically.
With Abyss jewels now worth very little, chest rewards simply don't justify the time investment compared to stronger alternatives.
Standard Expedition
Verdict: Only worthwhile with maximum modifiers.
Running Expeditions without full modifiers or farming outdoor Expeditions significantly reduces profitability.
Without heavy investment, Expedition drops from S-Tier all the way to C-Tier.
Kulamak & Unjuiced T17 Maps
Kulamak
Offers dependable but limited income.
Expect roughly 15 Divine Orbs per hour, with little opportunity for jackpot drops.
T17 Maps
Unjuiced Tier 17 mapping remains profitable but struggles to compete with better farming methods available in Patch 0.5.4.
Divine Arbiter
Verdict: Underwhelming returns.
Despite being a newer boss encounter, Divine Arbiter currently lacks the valuable chase drops necessary to justify repeated farming.
Until its loot table improves, better alternatives exist.
D-Tier Farming Strategies
Essence Farming
Verdict: Not worth targeting.
Essence prices remain too low to support dedicated farming.
Picking them up while mapping is perfectly reasonable, but building an Atlas strategy around Essences simply isn't worthwhile.
T16 Alch-and-Go Mapping
Verdict: Functional, but inefficient.
Basic mapping without additional investment produces modest profits at best.
It remains a viable option for casual players but falls well behind specialized farming strategies.
BOD Boss
Verdict: The weakest boss farm in Patch 0.5.4.
Long encounters, poor rewards, and virtually no valuable chase drops leave the BOD Boss at the bottom of the rankings.
Unless future balance changes improve its loot, it's best avoided.
Final Thoughts
Patch 0.5.4 offers a healthy variety of profitable farming strategies, but the economy is constantly evolving.
If you prefer consistent, low-risk profits, Ritual, Boss Rush, and Trial of Chaos remain excellent choices. Players with powerful endgame builds should focus on Max Modifier Expedition or 200% Delirious Maps, both of which currently offer the highest currency potential.
For those willing to embrace RNG, boss farms like Ash Arbiter and Azir can produce extraordinary payouts, though they require significantly more investment and patience.
As always, keep an eye on POE 2 Orbs the trade market. Prices for Omens, Logbooks, Invitations, and boss drops change frequently, and adapting your farming strategy to the economy is often the difference between making a few Divine Orbs—or printing mirrors.
