Series 2 FH6 Update Guide Explained U4GM Patch Notes

If you've been spending time in Horizon Play, this update changes the grind in a way you'll notice pretty quickly. The XP curve for levels 26 through 100 has been eased off, so the climb is nowhere near as rough as it was before. If you were already past Level 25, there's a decent chance you'll log in and find your progress has moved forward without you doing anything extra. That kind of catch-up is rare, and it feels even better if you've been saving your FH6 Credits for a build you did not want to rush into.

Progression Feels Less Grindy

The standout change is simple: fewer players are going to feel stuck in the middle of the Horizon Play ladder. Anyone who hit Level 32 before the patch gets pushed straight to Level 100, along with the related badges and the Maxed Out Achievement. That is a big jump, no question, but it also clears up a weird bit of pacing that had been dragging on for a while. For people who like seeing steady reward flow, this is the sort of tweak that makes the game feel less stingy and a bit more inviting.

Map Tracking Is Finally Acting Normally

The map and completion fixes matter more than they might sound at first. Road discovery is tracking properly again, including the two road nodes that simply refused to count before. The Region Overview now shows a Roads Driven percentage too, which is one of those small quality-of-life touches that saves you from hopping between screens and guessing what is left to do. Mini Map and World Map mismatches have also been sorted out, so the information on screen should line up the way players expected it to from the start.

Race Balance and Tyre Tuning

Race starts have had a bit of work done, and the Drivatar tuning should make early moments in events feel cleaner. It does not sound dramatic on paper, but anyone who has had a race decided in the first few seconds knows why this matters. The AI balance has been adjusted as well, so results ought to feel more consistent across the board. On the tuning side, drag tyres have been reined in outside drag racing, which was probably overdue. They were giving too much grip for the PI cost, and that had made some non-drag builds a little too easy to lean on.

Final Thoughts

There is also a nice bit of goodwill tucked into the patch. After the hotfix that dealt with the credit exploit, Playground Games is handing out a free 2021 McLaren Sabre to eligible players, and that is a pretty decent way to soften the blow. If you have been waiting for a patch that fixes practical problems without killing the mood, this one does a good job. The progression changes, the map cleanup, and the tuning rebalance all hit different parts of the game, and that makes it feel more complete. It may not solve everything, but it does give the whole experience a much better rhythm, and the added Forza Horizon 6 Credits reward chatter only makes the update feel a bit more worth your time.
