AviaGames’ Wonderland Wishes campaign has been named a finalist in the 2026 Shorty Awards, recognizing its creativity and impact in digital storytelling. Built around the idea that games can create meaningful real-world outcomes, the campaign allowed Solitaire Clash players to earn “Wish Stars” through gameplay, which were converted into donations. Over five weeks, the community generated more than 691 million Wish Stars, resulting in a $136,000 contribution to Foster Love, supporting foster youth with essential items like care kits, clothing, and educational resources.

The AviaGames' campaign combined community engagement with strong storytelling, featuring a partnership with creator Leo Gonzalez and the Beyond the Game video series, which highlighted real player stories. It also included a livestream and a final in-person event in Los Angeles where participants assembled care packages and bikes. Being recognized by the Shorty Awards, along with a nomination at the Digiday Video & TV Awards, reflects both the creative execution and the collective effort of the AviaGames community in turning gameplay into meaningful impact.
