u4gm What Do You Need to Finish Flickering Threat Guide
When Celeste hands you the Flickering Threat task, it feels like one of those jobs you take because no one else wants it, but it pays off fast once you get moving. You will be heading toward the Dam anyway, so it helps that grabbing a few parts and restoring power lines up nicely with your usual scavenging run, especially if you are already stocking up on ARC Raiders Items. The route is pretty direct, and once you know where the trouble spots are, you can clear the whole thing without getting stuck in a pointless shootout.
Reaching the Dam
The Dam sticks out on the map, so you do not need to overthink the approach. Most players walk straight into a patrol here because they get distracted by the huge structure, so keep your head up as you close in. The Generator Room usually sits at the base behind a heavy metal door. Inside, you will spot the busted generator right away—smoke, sparks, the whole thing looking like it is begging for retirement. The game asks for four wires, and even though they are all in that room, people miss one because it is often tucked behind a crate. Check lockers, toolboxes, and shelves. Once you have all four, patch up the machine and get ready for the second half of the run.
Finding the Ventilation Shaft
After the generator starts humming again, most folks make the mistake of wandering around outside. Instead, slip out the southeast exit. There is a tall industrial-looking building west of the elevator that you want to head toward. It blends in more than you would expect, so stick close to the path unless you want to pull aggro from every bot in the yard. When you spot the building, get inside quickly; the interior is pretty quiet compared to the outside chaos, and you can move around without constant pressure.
Restoring the Power
The switch you need is not sitting on the wall like a normal one. It is tucked under the stairs, and players walk past it all the time while circling the room in frustration. Drop under the steps, flip the panel, and the whole place will kick back into life. That sound usually tells you the quest is wrapped, even before the on‑screen notification pops up.
Celeste pays out better than you might expect here. The Radio Renegade Helmet looks rough in a good way, but the real win is the bundle of crafting parts she hands over. Five Medium Gun Parts and three Advanced Mechanical Components save you a long farm session later, especially if you are upgrading gear faster than you can keep materials stocked. Jobs like this are short, quick, and worth stacking alongside other runs, particularly if you are already hunting for ARC Raiders Items buy.
