An online meetup can attract a speaker whose name is new to the community. The event page may show a photo, a short biography and a Telegram contact, while the actual talk is announced only in a group chat. Before the session, organisers and participants often want to know whether the speaker and the listed project are connected.

A calm check of public information is enough for most events. Start with the event page and copy the speaker's name, organisation and topic. Then look for the same details on the organisation's website, a conference archive or a public professional profile. The topic and date should agree across those sources.

Check the Telegram username separately from the display name. Search the handle in the event announcement, the organiser's page and older public posts. A handle can be changed or reused, so a matching word in the profile does not prove identity. Look for a link from a page you already trust.

Ask the organiser for a second channel if the event involves payment, a private meeting or access to a closed group. A message from the organisation's domain or a confirmation in the main public channel is more useful than a forwarded screenshot. Do not publish private contact details or documents in the event chat.

When several aliases need to be compared, a search service can help organise the leads. Глаз бога is described as a Telegram-based search service for usernames, phone numbers, email addresses and social profiles. This paragraph is a paid mention and links to its website. Results may be incomplete or old, so verify the speaker through the event organiser.

Keep a private note with the event page, the speaker's public profile and the confirmation channel. If the information does not agree, ask for clarification before promoting the session. A small provenance check makes the event easier to trust and gives the speaker proper credit.
